Link Group aims to be a responsible business committed to building a sustainable future together with clients and other key stakeholders.
Our sustainability strategy supports our purpose of connecting people with their assets –safely, securely, and responsibly. The strategy is based on three core pillars that incorporate environmental, social and governance (ESG) focus areas considered to be material to the business.
We have committed to acting on and achieving our sustainability targets and are very proud of the inroads and successes so far.
Pathway to net zero emissions
Link Group continues to make good progress on our pathway to net zero emissions for FY2030. In fact, we have already achieved our FY2023 target reducing our absolute scope 2 emissions by 26% from FY2019 levels. More than 70% of our office space is rated to global and national sustainable rating schemes, including the recently opened Auckland, Parramatta and Pune buildings.
This financial year our Australian office locations will begin the shift to utilising renewable energy and aim to have most of our office locations powered by renewable energy by the end of FY2025.
Our 40:40:20 gender equity target
Link Group recognises that embracing and harnessing individual differences and gender equality brings the breadth of perspective and depth of experience critical to our success, especially as we strive to be an organisation where our people are reflective of the diverse clients we support, as well as their customers throughout the world.
We remain committed to achieving and maintaining a 40:40:20 gender balance and equity across all levels of management and the wider organisation.
In FY2022 we improved the representation of women across our cohort of senior leaders and continue to maintain balance across other management levels throughout the wider organisation, including 50% female representation within the Executive Leadership Team.
